The Opportunity The employer is on an extensive growth journey and have recently secured several major Facility Management contracts, the largest of which is a landmark accommodation project in Luleå. For our operation in Luleå, we are seeking a General Manager to hold ultimate responsibility for all operations and full ownership of the contract's deliverables, including Profit & Loss (P&L) What You Will Do Lead a large-scale recruitment drive to build a high-performing team, primarily within Housekeeping and Food & Beverage. Oversee all aspects of the operation, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and operational efficiency in line with key performance indicators (KPIs). Lead, mentor, and develop your entire team, from department heads to frontline staff. Direct, coordinate, and enhance the operational service delivery to ensure a professional and seamless experience for our client. Establish and cultivate a professional, trust-based relationship with our client, conducting regular follow-ups to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, both internally and in partnership with the client. Coordinate and collaborate effectively with central support functions (such as HR, Tech, and Finance) as well as with external subcontractors. The position is based on-site in Luleå. Qualifications & Skills Extensive experience leading large, operations-heavy organizations, preferably from the Hotel, Restaurant, or Facility Management sectors. Proven experience with full P&L responsibility and a strong entrepreneurial mindset. Confidence and the ability to communicate with and influence key stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in both English and Swedish, written and spoken, is required. A results-driven leader who excels at execution through structure, decisive action, and rigorous follow-up. Excellent problem-solving and operational thinking abilities. Your Team & Structure You will lead a local management team with direct reports including the Head of Housekeeping and the Head of Restaurant & Kitchen. Additionally, you will oversee the reception and maintenance teams, either directly or through a supervisor. You will be supported by a robust central organization providing expertise in HR, Technology, Payroll, and Accounting. Initially, you will report directly to the company's CEO, and will be a member of the senior management team.
